Improving Fitness

The Improving Fitness Group is now in its second year under the leadership of local professional fitness trainer Viv Markley who  volunteers her services. The Group caters for all levels of fitness using the ten or so pieces of outdoor adult fitness equipment recently installed behind East Horsley Village Hall.

Viv Markley has kindly agreed to lead a new series of classes in the Spring and Summer of 2012. These will start with a "limbering up" walk to Squires and back led by Viv on Wednesday February 22nd. Meet at East Horsley Village Hall car park at 2.00 pm.
Normal classes using the outdoor equipment begin at 2.30 pm on March 28th. Subsequent classes with Viv will be fortnightly at the same time on the Wednesdays: April 11, April 25, May 9, May 23, June 20 and July 4. Weather permitting Members also do their own exercises on the intervening Wednesdays at the same time.

It is great fun and makes a noticeable difference to your health. New members are welcome, so why not come along and see for yourself?

Some of us will also meet at the same place to continue our exercises on the alternate Wednesdays, weather permitting.

New members  continue to be welcome.

As the following pictures show, with skilled instruction all ages up to and including the 90s can improve their fitness on the equipment beside the East Horsley Village Hall!
