Practical Art for All

From Thursday 13 January 2011, the Practical Art for All Group now meets approximately fortnightly on Thursdays in the Main Hall, East Horsley Village Hall from 2.00 pm to 4.15 pm.  

The dates are 27th January, 10th Feb and 24th Feb, 10th March and 24th March, 7th and 21st April, 5th and 19th May. After that we have a short break for holidays.We can then resume the usual 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month pattern of classes.

The main aim of the group is to encourage those who have always wanted to paint and draw but have been a bit afraid of doing so, thinking that they would never be good enough! It should be a really pleasurable activity, non-competitive, and a chance to be creative and produce artwork so that each individual member of the group can feel a sense of achievement. Hopefully the experience will inspire confidence in each group member, with those who have greater experience helping the novices.
