Theatre Visits
All Horsley U3A members are eligible to take part in these visits. We e-mail details of future trips to all Horsley U3A members who are on line, and put notices on the U3A notice boards at the Village Hall and in the Station Parade shop window, and on this website.
We try to vary the types of theatre visits as much as possible so that we can cater to all tastes. Some of the previous visits were to London to see Habit of Art , Yes Prime Minister and Legally Blonde. Our July 2011 trip was to Stratford-on-Avon to see The Merchant of Venice and in September 2011 to the Chichester Theatre to see Singing In The Rain.
Further trips are planned for 2012 -------- Organisers are Denise Smee ( tickets ) and Sue Mills ( transport )
The first trip of 2012 was to Richmond Theatre to see Eugene O'Neill's "A Long Days Journey Into Night" which was a very good performance of this classic drama.
The next visit is to see Michael Fraynes comedy "Noises Off" which is transferring to the West End after a very successful run at The Old Vic. This will be for an evening performance on the 31st. May. Dress circle tickets plus coach transport will be £42/person . Please send cheques to D. Smee ( address on the notice boards)
