Our objectives are to:

  • enjoy our world,
  • share our travelling experiences
  • arrange trips as a group 

We normally meet bi-monthly on the third Thursday of the month in the East Horsley Village Main Hall to hear presentations, starting at 8.00pm. The group does not levy a membership fee and covers expenses by asking for a donation at evening meetings. The 2020 program of Presentations is shown in the Table below. 

All Horsley U3A members are encouraged to attend Travel Group events and trips. We are always on the look-out for members to share those special travel memories at our regular meetings; and always ready to welcome suggestions for future travelling experiences.

The Committee is currently looking for volunteers to assist in identifying and leading new holidays.

Two holidays have been organised for 2020. The first, which has been fully booked, will be a cruise on the Rhine and Moselle rivers (30 April – 7 May).The second is a tour organised by “Great Rail Journeys” to western Scotland (6-12 September). Our allocated “saved” places on this trip are now gone.
