Currently we have 20 members and meet monthly. Sometimes we have a visiting speaker who will talk on various aspects of genealogy while on other occasions a member will give a short talk about their own research. Help is provided for those with less experience. At some meetings, in place of a speaker, we hold an interactive online research session on a member's antecedents, using a genealogical website so that other members can follow progress. Occasionally we arrange visits to centres such as the National Archives at Kew, the Woking History Centre where much local family history is located, or the LDS (Mormon) centre at Reading where family records are available for the UK and Europe.
