Horsley U3A has a vibrant programme of activities. This includes a monthly lecture, theatre visits, opera and ballet screenings, and outings to interesting places. Other groups also arrange outings and visits specific to the interests of the group members. Go to the individual groups web pages to see more information.

Please also keep an eye out for new group developments and other news on the U3A Noticeboards in East Horsley Village Hall and outside Budgens in Kingston Avenue, just off Station Parade in East Horsley.

Bulletins are sent out 6 or 8 times a year by email giving details of the forward programme for the Horsley U3A


 Monthly Meetings are now being held at East Horsley Village Hall. To support those that are still isolating or cannot get to the hall we are runnning "hybrid" meetings, those who cannot attend can watch the meetings on "Zoom"

All Horsley U3A members are eligible to take part in our Theatre Visits.  We e-mail details of future trips to all Horsley U3A members who are on line, and put notices  on the U3A notice boards at the Village Hall and in the Station Parade shop window, and on this website. 

We try to vary the types of play as much as possible so that we can cater to all tastes.

Our trips are always very popular and usually book up quite quickly.  Keep an eye open for e-mails and notices outside Budgens and in the village hall.

The Grange Opera 2021.
The 2021 production of Falstaff starring Bryn Terfel was attended by 39 members of Horsley u3a on 5th. July and  enjoyed a wonderful performance and a memorable night when even the inclement weather could not dampen the spirits of the opera enthusiasts.
Some comments from those who attended were;  'It was a really enjoyable evening'  'high quality singing, excellent orchestral playing, and inventive sets'

Glyndebourne 2021
Tickets have been obtained for the production of Don Pasquale on 25 October 2021. Due to demand the original allocation has been increased from 34 to 50 so at the time of writing there are just a few seats remaining.

Opera and Ballet screenings
It is intended to resume the screening of world class ballets and operas at East Horsley Village Hall as soon as possible.

All members of Horsley u3a are invited to attend these events and notices will be posted by e-mail to inform members as to when these will be taking place with details of how to make a booking.

Table Tennis on Monday afternoons will resume on 2 August 2021.
The sessions will be for 2¼ hours from 3:15pm to 5:30 pm. With a break for tea and biscuits.
