The Explore London (Thursday) group members take it in turns to organise easy walking tours of London. Expeditions are usually on foot over a distance of normally less than 3 to 4 miles with adequate breaks for coffee/tea and lunch and comfort stops ! For most tours we go up to London by train and aim to return from Waterloo by late afternoon avoiding the rush hour. Parties are limited to 12-14 including the organisers. Past visits have included Canary Wharf, Borough Market, Covent Garden, St. James's, Hammersmith, The Guildhall, and St Pancras. For the past couple of years, the January walk has been replaced by a group lunch, in the Horsley area - this has been very popular.
