A relaxed friendly atmosphere is the mark of our meetings. The annual programme of talks endeavours to cover a wide range of subjects.
Members are encouraged to give a talk either on either a key interest relating to transport or industrial history or their career.
Last year’s outings included 2 popular full day outings by coach:
- a very interesting full day visit by coach to Chatham Historic Dockyard on a sunny June day.
- a visit to Bletchley Park, the top secret wartime message intercept / decoding centre
For non coach trips, travel to venues is by car (sharing basis) or public transport.  Lunch and refreshments are taken in either an on-site cafe or at a local pub, in a convivial atmosphere!  Full details of our 2026 meeting and visit programme are given on our TIAG webpage on the Horsley u3a website, and on the website calendar.
